‘Ghost in the Shell’ criticised for casting white heroine
A new movie based on the adventures of a Japanese manga comic hero has reignited an old debate.
‘Ghost in the Shell’ has attracted criticism for casting Scarlett Johansson, a white Hollywood star, as an Asian heroine.
However, the movie won praise for its big budget and production.
